    Makpha Clinic

We had the honor of serving 1,300 people through the 2 days of the camp!
We had a gas conservation and safety cap set up near the exit of out medical camp. This was a facility set up by Bharat Petroleum and it gave our patients important information on gas usage and they also provided needy families with free cylinders of gas!
We had all our patients undergo a vital checkup where their BMI, blood pressure, respiratory rate and temperature were checked.
We had stations through out the facility to ensure that people were going to the correct specialist.
All the patients were recommended to one of our doctors based on their type of medical concern.
Our orthopedic surgeon gave patients advice and prescribed medications to help relive different types of body pain.
We had a EKG technician on site for the camp tp provide patients with reports on their heart performance.
Ou gynecologist provided medical checkups for the expecting mothers who attended the camp.
An eye camp was set up on the second day of the camp for our patients who had trouble and/or discomfort with their eyesight.

Our medication counters were packed throughout the day. All the medicines were sorted into small paper bags where the prescription and instructions were noted down. We were able to provide medicines to all our patients that required them.

Thank you to our great volunteers! The camp would not have been possible without them.
On both days of the camp, we held a short open meeting with the villagers, the organizers and some of the prominent people in surrounding areas. Through this meeting, we explained the purpose of our initiative and also what general and longterm things we hope to improve throughout Makhpa.
We invited prominent and powerful people from surrounding areas. We used this opportunity to discuss ways that we could better the quality of life for these villagers who are living in harsh poverty.
